Botanical name: Kunzea ambigua branch/leaf/twig oil
From the Kunzea plant also known as ‘White Cloud’, Kunzea essential oil is a beautiful gift from nature. With a slightly spicy, camphorous scent, Kunzea is a gentle cousin to the Tea Tree plant and both have similar properties. Kunzea has anti-inflammatory properties and can be used to treat eczema, dermatitis and general skin irritation. It has expectorant and antimicrobial properties, making it a useful for the treatment of respiratory infections as well as blocked noses and sinuses. A gentle alternative to Tea Tree, Kunzea makes a pleasant addition to diffuser blends and is suitable for children.

Note: this product comes unboxed
Massage: use a 2.5% dilution: up to 15 drops per 30ml of carrier oil.
Bath: add up to 5 drops in a dispersant, such as carrier oil or honey, to the bath.
Hand or foot bath: add 2 drops of essential oil to a bowl of water. For nail infection and the relief of arthritic pain.
Steam treatment (face and respiratory): add 2 drops of essential oil to a bowl of steaming hot water. Caution due to risk of burns or scalding.
Compress: to a bowl of water, add 2 drops of essential oil. Agitate a face washer in the water, wring out excess moisture and apply washer to the affected area. Repeat two or three times as the compress cools down or warms up.
Note: Kunzea essential oil is considered a safe and gentle oil. Mild risk of skin irritation. Patch test before use.
Skin & Hair: Can be used to treat eczema, dermatitis and general skin irritation. Helpful to oily and congested skin that is prone to acne and blemishes.
Body: Effective treatment for arthritic pain and sore muscles from strains, sprains and after exercise. Can help with the treatment of respiratory infections as well as blocked noses and sinuses.
Wellbeing: Refreshing and uplifting to the spirits, yet calming and comforting at the same time. It has been suggested that Kunzea can help with a melancholy mood.

Is this safe for use during pregnancy?
Use this oil with care, best used in a diffuser or diluted with a carrier oil (1% ratio). Avoid using essential oils during the first trimester unless you are under the supervision of a qualified practitioner.
Is this safe for children?
We do not recommend the use of essential oils for children under 3 months, after 3 months use small amounts in a diffuser or for massage use a 1% dilution ratio in a carrier oil
Is this safe to use around pets?
This essential oil is not recommended for use around pets
