What we collect

When you make a purchase, we collect the personal information needed to process your order — your name, delivery address, email address and, where relevant, phone number.

When you browse our site, we may also automatically receive technical information such as your device's IP address, which helps us understand how our site is being used.

If you choose to sign up to receive emails from us, we'll collect your email address for that purpose.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site — for example, which pages are viewed and how people navigate through the store. This helps us improve the site over time.

We also use the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) on our site. This allows us to understand how visitors interact with our site after seeing an ad, and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our site on Facebook and Instagram.

How we use it

We use the information you provide to process and deliver your order, respond to your enquiries, and — where you've opted in — send you occasional updates about Estil Home.

Where you've opted in to marketing emails, we send these using Shopify Email, part of the Shopify platform our store runs on. Shopify Email may collect information such as whether an email has been opened or a link clicked, which helps us understand what our customers find useful. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting us at hello@estilhome.com.

We don't use your information for any purpose beyond what it was collected for, unless you've given us your consent.

Your consent

By providing your information to complete a purchase, arrange delivery, or handle a return, you consent to us collecting and using it for that specific purpose.

If we ever need your information for a secondary purpose, such as marketing, we'll ask for your clear consent, or give you the opportunity to opt out.

How your data is stored

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., who provide the e-commerce platform behind our site. Your data is stored through Shopify's secure servers and infrastructure.

If you pay by card, your payment details are processed and encrypted by Shopify in line with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). We don't see or store your full payment details ourselves.

Disclosure

We don't sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law, where necessary to provide our services to you (for example, sharing your delivery address with our shipping provider), or to the analytics and advertising tools described above, which process limited browsing data on our behalf.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse or unauthorised access, in line with industry practice.

Age

By using this site, you confirm that you're at least 18 years of age, or that a parent or guardian has consented to a minor dependent using the site.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. If we make material changes, we'll make sure this is clear so you understand what's changed.
